Accessibility Statement
Last updated: October 27, 2026
Baumert, Cummings & Hiatt wants everyone who visits this website, including people who use assistive technology, to be able to find our information and contact us.
Our standard
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, the standard most widely used to measure website accessibility under the Americans with Disabilities Act.
What this site does
- Every page can be used with a keyboard alone, and a “Skip to main content” link is the first thing the Tab key reaches.
- Text and buttons meet WCAG contrast ratios.
- Pages are marked up so screen readers can find the main navigation, the main content and the footer.
- Pages can be zoomed in, including pinch-to-zoom on phones, and read on small screens without scrolling sideways.
- Form fields have labels, and the contact form says which required fields are missing.
- The Reading options button on every page lets you enlarge text, switch to high contrast, underline links, add spacing between lines and letters, and stop motion. Your choices stay in place as you move between pages.
How we test
On October 27, 2026 every page of this site was tested with the axe-core automated accessibility checker against WCAG 2.1 Level A and AA rules, on desktop and phone screen sizes, and checked by hand for keyboard use and small-screen layout. Automated tools cannot find every issue, so we keep reviewing the site and fix problems as we find them.
Known limitations
- Websites we link to, such as local organizations and Google Maps, are run by others and may not meet the same standard.
